Why is the Home Care Consultation $250 instead of a free estimate?
A free estimate is a quick guess. The Home Care Consultation is a real 60–90 minute in-home assessment that results in a written plan you can use whether or not you hire us — and if you do move forward with service within 60 days, the full $250 is credited toward the work.
Do you publish your ongoing service pricing?
Home Care pricing depends on your home's size, condition, and needs, so we recommend the right plan after we've actually seen your home during the consultation — not before. This keeps the recommendation accurate instead of guessing over the phone.
What if something is outside what you handle?
We'll tell you plainly. Major electrical, plumbing, gas, or HVAC work, structural repairs, roofing, and similar licensed trades are outside our scope — we'll refer you to someone we trust rather than take on something we shouldn't.
Do you supply materials?
Materials, parts, fixtures, disposal, and any outside specialist costs are billed separately unless we've specifically included them in your plan — we'll always be upfront about this before work begins.
Can my family be kept in the loop?
Yes — with your permission, we're glad to keep one family member (an adult child, for example) informed with visit summaries, photos, and recommendations. Many of our customers' families live out of town and appreciate knowing what's going on.
Is this a home inspection?
No. The Home Care Consultation is a practical home-care and maintenance assessment — it's not a licensed home inspection, code inspection, engineering assessment, or medical/ADA certification.
